Cinnamon and sweet ripe persimmons make an amazing old-fashioned Christmas time pudding dessert!

Ingredients

    Directions

    Step1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9X13 inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. In a medium bowl combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon together.

    Step2

I use a stand mixer for this, but it can also be done with an electric hand mixer or by hand. In a large mixing bowl combine persimmon puree, milk, eggs and butter.

    Step3

Mix the dry and wet ingredients together. Once completely mixed pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the middle is set. The sides should be slightly pulling away from the pan when cooked. Allow to completely cool before serving.

    Step4

Serve with whipped cream or by itself. Enjoy!
